Inspection fees (excluding traveling costs)

Included in the inspection fee is:
-Random inspection of the product
-Issueing Inspection Certificate(s) based on the inspection
-Issueing Consulting Certificate(s) based on the inspection
-Sending 1 copy of the Inspection Certificates by fax and/or regular mail
-Sending of maximum 5 digital photos/pictures per inspected item by e-mail
-Pre-Shipment Survey only: 1 seal lock for the container
-Incoming banking fee

Not included in the inspection fee is (if applies):
-Traveling costs and toll
-Issueing PCS International Certificate of Origin and/or Certificate of Freshness upon request of the customer
-Legalization of documents by the Chamber of Commerce upon request of the customer
-Courier service upon request of the customer
-Sending additional digital photos upon request of the customer by e-mail or regular mail

International inspections (outside The Netherlands & Belgium) – all products

Inspection fees

The inspection fees for international inspections are based on the total length of the trip in days, not  on the quantities of the goods to be inspected. All days are included, the traveling days, the day(s) of inspection and if occurs also waiting days.

A set-up fee of EUR. 150.00 applies to all international inspections. The set-up fee covers the time spent on making all the arrangements for the inspection.

Included in the inspection fee is:
-Inspection of an unlimited quantity of products
-Issueing Inspection Certificate(s) based on the inspection
-Sending 1 copy of the Inspection Certificates by fax and/or regular mail
-Sending of maximum 5 digital photos/pictures per inspected item by e-mail
-Incoming banking fee

Not included in the inspection fee is (if applies):
-All expenses made by PCS International BV (flights, hotels, traveling expenses, communication costs, reservation costs, travel insurance, visa and all other expenses)
-Seal locks for containers (Pre-Shipment Surveys)
-Issueing PCS International Certificate of Origin upon request of the customer
-Legalization of documents by the Chamber of Commerce upon request of the customer
-Courier service upon request of the customer
-Sending additional digital photos upon request of the customer by e-mail or regular mail

Traveling costs

Notes:
-In general the booked tickets may not be changed or cancelled (non-refundable tickets), sometimes tickets may be changed against a fee. Unless we receive specific instructions from our customer to book tickets with flexible conditions.
-In case of cancellation of a trip after the ticket has been booked all costs will be charged to the customer plus EUR. 150.00 set-up fee and EUR. 500.00 inspection fee.
-In case a departure date has to be changed upon request of our customer all costs + EUR. 150.00 fee will be charged to the customer.

Hotels

Notes:
-Hotel room rates are subject to availibility and location. In general we try to book hotel rooms against a rate of EUR. 100-150 per night.
-Reservation costs are being charged for each hotel reservation made by PCS International BV.
-In case of cancellation of a hotel room reservation upon request of our customer (change of inspection date or cancellation of the trip) all costs will be charged to the customer.

Communication costs

Notes:
-Communication costs are charged to cover all incoming and outgoing phone calls between the surveyor and the PCS International office, the customer and the supplier. A minimum of 20 minutes will be charged for each inspection. We will not charge communication costs which do not have to be paid by us (incoming calls hotel & outgoing calls from office supplier or warehouse).
